Vitamin D3 is an essential fat soluble vitamin which we can obtain through sunlight exposure, food and supplements if needed in the winter months.

Recommended Daily Intake of Vitamin D for Children

The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) has set the adequate intake (AI) as 200 IU for all children daily.  

The AI is the minimum daily amount required to prevent deficiency. 

Iron Immunity contains 100 IU which is 50% of children’s daily requirement.
